Heating and cooling service in Harvey, homes and businesses

Along the Harvey Canal and Manhattan Boulevard, offices, shops and marine businesses keep commercial systems running hard through the summer. Rooftop units and split systems there need regular maintenance to avoid failing during the busiest weeks.

Harvey also has a large number of apartment complexes and mid-century homes. Apartments often run on PTAC units or small split systems, and many single-family homes are on aging equipment due for replacement.

Much of Harvey's housing stock dates from the 1960s through the 1980s, and many of those homes have their original ductwork. Ducts that age in a hot attic lose their insulation, sag and pull apart at the joints, so the system works harder for less comfort. When a Harvey homeowner replaces a system, we test the ducts first so the new unit is not connected to the old leaks.
