Heating and cooling services across New Orleans
Every job we do, grouped the way the problems show up: cooling that quit, a system due for replacement, heat that will not come on, rooms the air never reaches, and humidity the AC leaves behind.

We repair, replace and maintain air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, ductless systems and ductwork in New Orleans and the surrounding parishes, and we answer the phone 24/7. Start with the category that matches what you are seeing; if you are not sure, call and describe the symptom.
When the house stops cooling
Most of our calls from April to October land here. Capacitors, contactors, drains, coils and refrigerant account for nearly all of them, and most are fixed on the first visit once the real fault is found.

- 1
Warm air, water or ice?
Start with AC repair. Water around the air handler points to the drain line; ice points to a frozen coil.
- 2
System over 12 to 15 years old and failing again?
Compare repair against replacement, and ask whether a heat pump fits.
- 3
Cool but clammy?
A whole-home dehumidifier or better thermostat settings usually fix it.
- 4
One room always hot?
Check the ductwork first, then consider a mini-split.
- 5
Just want it looked after?
A spring tune-up, or a maintenance plan that books both seasons for you.
How we help you decide between a repair and a new system
The question we are asked most after a breakdown is whether to repair or replace. Our rule of thumb is simple. A repair that costs a small fraction of a new system, on equipment under about ten years old that runs on current refrigerant, is almost always worth doing. A major repair such as a compressor or an indoor coil on a system past twelve to fifteen years, or any significant refrigerant repair on an old R-22 system, usually is not.
In between, it depends on how the system has been treated, whether it keeps the house dry, and whether the same part has already failed once. We put both numbers in front of you, the repair and the replacement, and let you decide. When replacement is the answer, we size the new system from the house, not from the label on the old one, because many older systems here were oversized and never pulled enough moisture out of the air.
Heating follows the same logic with one difference: a furnace that runs a few weeks a year can last a long time, so a cracked heat exchanger or a failed control board on a sound furnace is a judgment call, and a heat pump is often the better replacement when the AC is due anyway.
What you get on every service call in New Orleans
Diagnosis first
Pressures, amperage and airflow measured before a part is named, and the price given before work starts.
Humidity in mind
Drains, coils and airflow checked on every visit, because those fail most in this climate.
Honest on replacement
We repair what is worth repairing and say plainly when a system is not.
